Strange Planet, a Webcomic series on the extraterrestrials that use a curious language to detail their growing understanding of the earth, will be transformed into a lively series destination for Apple TV +. The COMIC series was launched by the artist Nathan Pyle in 2019; He quickly grew up in popularity in social media, winning his creators of millions of followers about Instagram.
In the light of this popularity, as well as renewing the public interest in the subject of foreigners, it is not surprising that the comic is transformed into a lively series. Apple ordered a season of 10 episodes of an animation based on the Strange Planet Comic series, according to the Hollywood journalist.
The show will be available on the Apple TV + platform with Dan Harmon of Rick & Mory’s fame on board to serve as co-creator with pyle. Amalia Levari has been exploited as a showrunner for the next set, while Apple Studios will work with ShadowMachine to produce the series.
According to the show, the show will follow the same general theme that we see in the Comic series – telling stories of foreigners who learn about life on earth, including how to interact with humans and animals.
This will be the second animation for adults ordered by Apple for its streaming video platform, joining the animated musical series of Central Park. Although animated spectacles for adults are nothing new, the genus has experienced popularity with hits like Rick & Mory, Archer and Bob’s Burgers.
