The Stadia controller usually costs about 69 USD. This controller is not absolutely necessary for a player to use Google Stadia, but it makes the whole process as simplified as possible. The code in the email sent this week to some (if not all) Chromecast with Google TV users allow the user to buy a Stadia controller for half of its initial price. If you have never used Google Stadia before, Google’s code (in the above mentioned email) also gives users a free month of Stadia Pro.
The official Google Store also has a little a sale to promote the launch of Stadia on Google TV. If you buy a chromecast with Google TV or Chromecast with Google TV and Netflix Bundle and add a Stadia controller to your cart, you will get a reduction of approximately $ 17.25. There is also a sale on the Package Stadia Premiere Edition of $ 59 instead of 99 USD.
All this tiny discount collection on Google’s products at the launch of Stadia for Google TV gives us hope that Google Stadia is a cloud game platform we can count on the long term. There is little doubt, now that Google does not give up Google Stadia in the near future.
