The next Big Fornite Update will arrive early tomorrow morning (for those who live in the eastern time zone, at least). Epic teases the biggest change that will come with the 17.10 version of the game, one involving the immense mother ship that dragged above the Royal Island battle.
Players can expect Fortnite 17.10 update to arrive around 3:30, Eastern Time (07:30 UTC), at which gaming services will be disabled and the update will arrive shortly after. Once you have downloaded and installed the hotfix, you may be able to explore the interior of the parent vessel.
“A new surprise goes down”, Taquine Epic in his announcement of downtime. “A means inside the mother ship?” No additional details on this change has been provided, but the message indicates that something will come down from the large vessel (a tractor beam, perhaps) that will allow players to enter inside the extraterrestrial vehicle.
This next big update will also provide a change as competitive players have been warned before the launch of the season. According to Epic, Fortnite 17.10 will mark the end of the competitive consequence of the game, which means that all the points of suppression of the arena will be reset.
If you want to be able to play after the update as soon as possible, be sure to set your PC or game console to automatically download new updates when they become available. This will be the first major update of Chapter 2 – Season 7, which brought an extraterrestrial invasion to the island.
