Last February, Google announced that it was planned to provide a project FI VPN service to iPhone devices in the spring. Although the company failed to miss its original chronology, it is now starting to deploy the Tool on Apple phones on its MVNO network, with widespread availability to follow in the coming weeks.
As with other VPN services, that of Google Fi allows you to surf the Internet and use continuous applications on a private and encrypted connection. In doing so, it prevents websites from using your IP address to track your position. This is a good idea to use a VPN at any time you connect to an unsecured public network. Once you have updated the version 3.5 of the FI companion application (and Google Rolls on your phone), you will find the ability to activate the VPN under the Privacy and Security menu.
