Instagram is testing users the ability to publish their desktop feedback, the first time the photo sharing application has published outside its application.
The company has confirmed the test to hire. “We know that many people access Instagram from their computer,” a spokesman said. “To improve this experience, we now test the ability to create a feed message on Instagram with their desktop browser.”
The desktop display had already been spotted by Alessandro Paluzzi, which reverses popular engineering applications. But at the time, Paluzzi noted that he seemed to be an internal test only. This changes now, with multiple users who find the new functionality activated from their browsers.
There does not seem to be a significant difference between the positions originating in the application. Engadget confirmed that it is always possible to download multiple photos, edit and apply filters to published images from desktop browsers. Previously, users who wanted to publish their computers were offered from bypass contours, such as modifying their user agent settings or turn to external applications.
Change is an important element and would constitute a major step to create the Instagram website as functional as the application. It is also another sign of Instagram to become even more like Facebook. Earlier this week, the company confirmed that it tested another change that would insert “suggested positions” in user flows before the content of the accounts they follow.
