It looks like the Epic Games store could soon get two big name games. Users have discovered references to both Remake FINAL FANTASY VII and Alan Wakededed Lurking in lists published on EPIC Games Store data tracking. The lists suggest that the two games are on the way to the EPIC Games (and PC in general) store before either port has been officially revealed.
The ads were discovered by the users of Reddit Asleepentarepreneur73 and Awarereplace1587, which published screenshots of these ads to / r / gamingleaksandrrmors on reddit. These two advertisements show clear references at both the Remake Final Fantasy VII and Alan Way Remastered, suggesting that both titles arrive in the Epic Games store.
There are some points to note about these ads. The first is that the data of these games have been downloaded under Codenames: Heronstages for Alan Wake Resasterered and Pineapple for Final Fantasy VII remake. These were in fact admissions from the value of CloudSaveFolder who gave the true game titles, but at the time when these leaks were published, these two directories were updated to show the name of each game instead. of its current title.
It should also be noted that Final Fantasy VII Remake has not been announced for any platform outside PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while Alan West Remastered has not been announced at all. With that, there have been a lot of speculation about both titles. We have known since before Final Fantasy VII Remake published that it was only a timed exclusivity on Playstation 4 and that the exclusive period of the year is now over, which leads to some to speculate as ads for other platforms are in progress.
As for Alan West Remastered is concerned, Remedy said nothing about it. Nevertheless, the studio confirmed that Alan Wake franchise rights donated it and stated that he could bring Alan Wake to other platforms if she wanted it.
The big question – separately if these games arrive at the PC in the first place – is whether or not they go exclusive to the Epic Games store when they arrive. The data discovered on this follow-up does it really tell us that the EPIC is preparing for these games to embark on its store and reveals nothing exclusivity. We will simply have to see if official announcements remember around the turn of EPIC, Square Enix or cure, but for the moment, it looks good at the Fantasy VII Remake and Alan West Remastered is on the path of the PC.
